66 valiant stripes

so I am almost ready for paint and have been thinking there may be Too much white on the car all white. did they ever put stripes on the valiant like the barracuda? anyone have any pictures of valiants with stripes?

I've never seen a Valiant with the Barracuda stripe, but I think it would look good as long as the stripe does not extend through trim (my opinion on stripes).

The 66 Valiant was available with a different lower body color, however.

I may have to test it out with some different color masking taps once the paint is good and cured. that will give me an idea of what it would look like.

Cosgig had a 66 convertible for sale a few years ago and if I remember correctly it was silver with an off set black stripe on the pass side. It was in a for sale ad MIT find it with a search

I saw one on this site - it was a 66 convertible with two thin strips over the hood and trunk towards the right side....look up a 66 maybe
