67 - 69 A Body Convertible Top Switch Repair

Does anyone have photos of the insides of a convert top switch.

I bought one that needs repair and turns out it got real hot internally at some time.

There is a spring loaded plastic pin that causes the rocker contacts to rock when the lever is moved. It was very melted so I don't know the shape.

I have tried a couple dimensions and shapes but nothing seems right.

Well I was so close....

I forgot I have the top switch that came out of Dart #2, that I disassembled to clean.

It was still a part and I found it in my parts hoard.

I was spot on in the length, diameter, hole depth for the spring and the ball top was super close.

Turns out it's more the shape of a crayon.

I cleaned and relubed one I bought last year. I don’t think I have pics. But it fixed the issue.
