67 Dart Convertible Rescue

Got the wiper motor and linkage out today, and got the rest of the top seal and trim pieces off, got the driver's side fresh air vent out, only had to drill out 3 screws today

1 was a side above the window seal trim screw, the head was rusted enough that the screwdriver could night bite.

The other 2 were the latch small bolts 5/16 vs the larger 3/8"

Both just popped the heads off like butter.

By chance anyone have the screws for a latch sitting around to confirm the thread size and pitch?

Got more dirt out, and have a final weight of 71 lbs of confirmed weighed dirt out of the car.

Only a couple more crevices to clean.

Dana I have a couple of tubed of Lithium grease if you need some. Are you going to just leave the A/C guts out of the box?

I got a tube of Lubriplate DS-ES

I contacted them after seeing several posts about using white lithium to Vaseline

This is what they recommended

As for AC, if I don't put it back in I'll get a OEM heat only unit and controls and make some cover plates for the excess holes and for the motor hole.

Fire wall is different A/C to non A/C. Holes are in different areas for heat only box.
