The gas and temp gauges started going out intermittently on the Dart and finally died altogether. I've narrowed it down to the fuse box, All the fuses's test out at approx 12 volts on the multi-meter except for the fuse in the last slot, the Instrument fuse, which has no reading at all. I also have no power reading at the Delimiter which is new and has been tested.

Maybe the fuse holder plastic case is cracked or the wire going in to that fuse is loose or otherwise bad. It looks like it c/b the original fuse box based on the wiring clusters going into and out of each side which look original and are taped from the factory.

If I could get some help understanding what the options are that would be helpful.

Well, those clamps for the fuses couldn't be a lot more dirty or rusty so that's where I'd "start".

Yup. You need to clean those. Uncle Tony's garage had a video demonstrating an approach if you need a demo. It's a pain in the rear but necessary

Damm!

That fuse box needs serious attention!

There's one phillips screw holding it in place. Take it out , drop the block down, remove the plastic guard and have a look at the back side of that fuse block before doing anything.

Be sure to disconnect battery first.

I would figure out a replacement, even if you have to use a generic fuse box. The inst fuse has nothing to do with your gauges function

If you pull it down, a dremel tool with a little wire brush will clean up those rusty fuse holders nicely. Probably not a 10 year fix, but it will get you going for awhile. Get new fuses too. Unhook the battery.

Most fuses are fed from one main bar. Check for a loose wire in the back. Those contacts are really bad. After cleaning then, coat them with dielectric grease.

The plating on the clips is gone and they will just keep rusting again. My fuse box looked almost as bad as yours. I cleaned the clips several times but it was only a temporary fix. I found a used wiring harness that had a fuse box with good clean rust free clips. I haven't had a problem since I replaced my original fuse box with the good used one.
