67 Dart Hood Hinges - how tight should the pivot be?

I pulled the hood hinges from my Rescue 67 Dart Convert.

There was no hood on it so I don't know how well the hinges worked.

After stripping the hinge pins seem really loose.

Question...

How tight should the hinge pin be?

Gert rid of that coiled spring and use a gas spring, you'll be a lot happier
