Here's some pics of my restoration project. I have replaced lower quarter panels, put in four speed hump, repaired back window channel, hand fabbed lower finish panels in trunk, replaced left side front frame rail (the tabs for the UCA was about rusted off),repaired front floor pans, repaired c- piller door latch area on drivers side, rebuilt door hinges,
under side was sandblasted along with inside and around window channels. everything has been stripped to bare metal and etch primed
cut in passengers side tail pipe cutout. all rust has been cut out and patch panels welded in. I hope to have it in paint by the end of summer
I know it's a long shot but we'll see. Plans are sub frame connectors, torque boxes and a 451 stroker. Can't decide on color yet
but am leaning towards Ivy Green

Wow! Nice job cudascott! The car looks great. Wears me out thinking how much work you have put into it so far.

Keep us posted onthe progress.

Ma Snart

Wow!! thanks guys I really got a ton of work in this car but it's a Mopar
and deserves to be fixed as best I can do. right now I'm trying to line all the sheetmetal up and boy is it a PITA. this is my first full restoration on a car
I did a 79 power wagon that I really loved it was a daily driver and the gas? well you guys know all about that I'm sure. what kind of gaps do you guys have on top of the doors where it meets the cowl? mine seem fairly wide like a 1/4" does that sound right

Looks as an H-code Fish to me?
Or did you add the brackets on the kick up for a double exhaust system?
Great job, keep the pics coming.

Swedefish I wish it was an H code for sure! I added the passenger side
Bracket. thanks for the compliment
68383GTS thanks also for the compliment I have a ton of work in and whole lot more to go haven't had any pics to add lately been trying to locate some patch
Pieces for the passenger fender I did get me a new 6 pack hood it's the AAR
One can't wait till it gets here. I will add more pics as it comes along

and a few more
Awesome Scott. Nice work. Man what I wouldn't give for my garage to be that clean and spacious. I've got a 28x26 but it's loaded to the hilt with stuff (mostly car parts). Keep up the good work.

Hey Woody I just cleaned it up and got all the parts out of the floor lol.
I have this old sign above the work table that reads
A CLEAN GARAGE
IS A SIGN OF
A SICK MIND
so normally it's all cluttered up my mom bought me the sign a few years
ago after making the statement " how do you get anything done in this messy garage"

Nice looking work you got there. Did you use a template to install the hump or just wing it? A buddy is thinking of doing the same thing, only he is scared to just start cutting his floor up. Good luck with your project, it is going to be a keeper for sure.

No matter what you say when you tare them down that far, there is alot of work going on.......... It is a fine looking car to start with. Keep up the great work. You will enjoy it when it is done.
Jim

Thanks I mocked up the block and gearbox and put it in
I cut a whole big enough for the shifter to go through put the shifter on then set
The hump Over it marked around then cut out
