Did real 67 Formula S Barracuda s have the option for a /6?

Formula S would have had a 273 hipo or 383 as engine option, was performance model

Some out there got a 67 Formula S fastback with a 318 2 barrel and 7 1/4 read thanks to ME ......... the 273 hipo and sure grip 8 3/4 went in my 67 Barracuda coupe that was in 1974-75 wonder if either car is still around

My production option code book lists the 66 to 68 Formulas pkg, as optional pkg code 367
This would have appeared on the VIN plate as a "7" under the F ,on line5, the 5th line from the bottom.
Code 367, for 1967,was a 273-4v,single exhaust pkg, with HD Suspension Pkg ( frt swaybar,HD Tbars,HD leafs),Firm Ride Shocks,Fender Medalions,and D70-14Red Streaks.
The 383 S is not listed.
Hope that helps.

Yes, thank you.
So a real Formula S would in no way have a 225 /6, 3 speed, 8 3/4 S.G. ???

No /6 came with a 8 3/4 rearend in a Valiant by the way ..

Ok, thanks for all the info. I know I want to drop a small block in it along with a 4 speed soon. Might have a lead on a running 340.....

If you look under the F on your VIN tag, notice the empty space there? no code 7 means no option 367, which means no Formulas S.
It doesnt take much to turn it into a S clone though.Check my previous post.
