67 Plymouth Valiant Signet 2Dr Sedan with 273 & A/C

If it was the one on CL up here then yeah he beat me to it. I wanted the front clip off of it. You both have mail. I have a pretty large supply of NOS parts for my car but still need clean and rust free fenders. My car is # 65 off the assembly line in 66 since it was special order and makes me wonder what the 64 ahead of me came with.

Here my fender tag that is going to Florida

I may just grab both. The fenders are the same as duster so the trim should be the same.

Free fender from craigslist :). I still need a spare set of buckets. The other pics are to show the differences between the 67-70 valiant bucket and the 70-up differences in the bezel area, grille bolt on area. The green fender is from a 70-1 Duster, the brown bucket is from an NOS fender I picked up and had to modify.

I found another Valiant so she is on hold for a bit. I found a local 68 signet 4dr that will surely end up getting scrapped if I don't grab it. I went to look at it and have never seen such backwoods engineering. The put the front suspension out of a diplomat in it which is too wide so the welded L shaped brackets to the frame rails to make it work, drilled additional holes right next to the original shock holes, cut and boogered up the trans mount and actually welded it to the trans tunnel and seem to have hammered the driveshaft into the transmission because it won't come out even beating it with a hammer. It's a good thing I saved the front suspension from that 71 dart I cut up and the rest I have leftover from a 67 valiant I parted out. It will be going back to the /6 drivetrain that it came with originally had and put back to driver condition and sold.

How did I not see this build? :)

Reminds me very much of my 68 Signet. It is also a bucket seat, factory air car.

Cool build!

The other car bodies attract more attention. I have been a valiant guy for over 20 years and always preferred the 67 over the 8 and 9 because of all of the chrome and stainless. I was buying NOS valiant parts when nobody wanted them and now people want my stash man :). It's nice to finally see the valiants be recognized. I was going to keep it stock but I kept finding deals on hipo stuff. I still have it all just in case. I doubt I will put the NOS stuff on it and IF I decide to sell them AZmopar gets first dibs for his pilot car. My local Craigslist has been good to me. I found the complete 340,4spd auto trans and ss springs there but the rest that I didn't have came mostly from FABO members.

Oh and thanks to the body shop bs I now have to repaint the whole care. That was a waste of 3k

Sorry to hear about the body shop woes! I always think I should pay somebody else to do this, but then when I do, it's usually no better than what I can do. Which isn't saying much, and it pisses me off doubly!

My '67 is modified quite a bit, it has QA1 double adj. coil overs on the front (torsion bars removed) w/rack & pinion steering. and QA1 single adj.coil overs in the rear with truck link suspension. 360 engine w/A833 four speed, 9in ford rear w/disc brakes, 355 gears & tru-trac. 6 point roll cage, fuel cell, 15X8 bassett wheels (4) and BFG radial T/A's I have pics posted in the gallery.
Thanks for asking it is a real blast to drive,
And by the way is for sale.
