Good morning,
I'm thinking of putting a 275/60 15 tire under a 67 valiant with everything in stock location. Will a 8" with 4.5 back space wheel work? Anyone have any pics of 67-69 valiant rear wheel/tire combos?
Thanks

What rearend, and what bolt pattern? It makes a difference. Changed to big bolt pattern, or stock?
I have NO expertise on Valiants, but I think that is probably a good wheel choice, and too big a tire. (Judging by the wheelwell openings I've seen.)

How about use the Search feature as this topic has been covers about 500 times.
Also, you need to include all your cars info as after 50+ years things could had been changed.

Stock a body 8 3/4 that's still in my demon that I'm going to swap out for a Dana.I already changed it to big bolt pattern years ago and with late 90's jeep rotors.
I'm well aware of the search function but haven't seen much on the valiant.I think the valiant has less room to the quarter panel.

I have 275/60-15 drag radials on my '69 Valiant, 15x8 ProStars with 5.5" backspace, but my springs are inboarded, stock wheelwell/tubs.

67-9 cuda with 83/4 and stock suspension, those 275's on 15" sbp steelies are VERY tight to leaf springs. Not sure of the bs on them.
