68 Barracuda trunk trim

I've only seen 68 Barracuda trunk trim with the argent center and with the blank trim in the grooves but mine is bare metal. Was there an option without the argent colour and black trim? My car did have the side gills and spears if that mades a difference. I have a piece that is the standard trim colours but I'd sooner sell it than strip it to match the car.

I looked at a 68 convertable this weekend it was like yours.

Do any other 68 Cuda convertible owners have the same thing? I did discover faint black trim lines under all the dust

Its fairly easy to rub the paint off and get a all bright finish but the cars behind you with their lights on wont like it at all. Same applies to 67 and 69 deck lid trim.
Plus without the paint every tiny ding shows up bad when lights hit it.

They ALL came argent trimmed in black.

I've never seen a tail panel that wasn't argent silver.
