:newb: here ! I joined a while back mostly for LA engine info. I need your expertise and thoughts on something.
I just bought a 68 Dart GTS bracket race car that my brother contacted me about. He says the car is in good shape.and was worth saving from a "dumbass" that was gonna cut it up and scrap it for a few $$. My brother is a hard core car guy, who I TRUST !
The car has the usual rust and a little rot for this year, but not to bad.
It is set up for a big block, has a full roll cage, fiberglass hood, grill, tail lights, side markers , dash without gauges, and window crank mechanisms in it still.
I am awaiting good pics of the car and the VIN # for decoding to see if it was a BB from the factory.
I saved this Dart GTS incase a hard core A body fan could and would want to do something with it.
Please let me know your thoughts and opinoins on it.

TIA LRV

THANKS to all VETERANS who have sacrificed for us !!!

sr71, in all honesty I don't know if it was on craigslist or not. Was the craigslist ad for northern cali ? if so can you pm me a link ?
I know for a fact the car was gonna be cut up first thing this morning.
I own a 68 D100, I know parts for Mopars are not as available as the other brands. The Dart has some good life left in it if some Mopar enthusiast has the time and money for it

Very doable car. Reminds me of the condition my 'cuda was in when we got it. If I had room, I'd be trying to talk you out of that car!!
I'm guessing its been a racer for quite a while. The cage might need to be updated, and you might need to check the body for twist. But its a good starting point. Better than what you would find here in the rust belt!!

Cudos to you for saving it, if nothing else, there's a lot of good parts on it.
