68 Dart GTS, proper 4sp shifter for a console car

Hi there guys,

Question, does anyone have a picture of a 68 console 4sp? I'm going to look at a 68 GTS and the console is out of the car, I want to make sure it has the correct shifter in it. I can't remember ever seeing a car with one in to be sure.

Well that answers that... I is not a console shifter so I'm guessing just not an original console car. Did the 68"s come with hypodermic style shifter at all?

That shift handle is hard to find in good shape but Brewers has a repro handle it is just missing the hurst stamped in the side.

The early 68 cars came with the "T" handle Inland shifter and not the Hurst as showed in the pictures in the link.
