68 dodge dart axle swap?

What's a good and strong axle swap for a 68 dodge dart? I know 9" are the most common but I don't know if one would fit. And didn't some darts come with dana 60s? I need something to hold up to a spool and a thousand plus horsepower.

Mopar 8 3/4 it doesn't get much tougher than that. Are you looking for a direct replacement? Or are you gonna shorten one?

1k plus HP equals.....Dana in a Mopar!!! The only reason to go with a 9" in my opinion is if you need to swap gears on a regular basis at certain tracks?
