68 Dodge Dart factory fuel line size

What is the factory diameter of the gas line from the tank to the carburetor????

I had thought my 68 383 GTS had a 3/8 line but
that was 55 years ago?

Typically a slant or small block would be a 5/16", 383 or 440 cars may have been 3/8", I don't know for certain, but it would make sense.

I think the only thing that had 3/8 were the Hemi cars and the 6 Pak cars. My 69 Coronet R/T 440 has 5/16 with a 1/4 return line. And to think GM had 3/8, even the 6 cylinder cars-the few that I've looked at.

Pretty sure all Chrysler cars had 5/16 line including hemi cars.
I remember reading an article that Chrysler engineers tested 5/16 vs 3/8 lines, and in a couple tests, the 3/8 lines would produce inconsistent fuel delivery, while the 5/16 remained consistent.
