Could anyone please tell me overall width of the emblems when installed on fenders <->.
I am interested in any info re: spacing or even better any other info / measurements you can provide on hole positions, Thanks Dave ( Aussie Dart. )
And a shout out to Prof Fate and Rusty, you and the other members have already helped me so much already. Dave

Left fender:

Measurement is from rear edge of fender, emblems are slightly "V" shaped and centered on the body crease. Right side is identical, just reversed.

Hood:

Flat emblems, centered on hood. Measurement taken from side edge of hood.

Measurement taken from front edge of hood, not including trim.

Trunk:

Flat emblems centered on trunk, measurement taken from side edge of trunk lid.

Measurement from rear edge of trunk lid, not including trim.

All measurements taken on a factory sheetmetal '68- crusty, but original.

From what I understand, the story goes (not saying it's true, who knows) that Chrysler only put the pentastar on the right side because that side is visible when parked on the street- and they could save fifty cents by not putting one on the left side. But in OZ, you guys drive on the other side of the road and park on the other side of the street, so a left hand emblem would make sense on an Aussie Dart... go for it!
