68 GTS grill center piece

Did some of the 68s not have the center piece, with mine i see no holes for it to be mounted

Many did not have the centerpiece, very few had them.

The story I read (and it may have been posted on FABO). There was a supply issue early in model year. The center piece was then removed from production. I don't think it was something you could order or delete. When I see a car that has it I assume it's an early build.

Some GTs had it as well, I had a 318 4 speed GT with it.
