I actually have no idea what it would cost to ship stateside but with the exchange I would see if i could meet him at the border if I lived in the north east. It looks like he is near Toronto?
 
Listing shows as Ottawa which is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours east of Toronto. Is that a GTS panel? Theres no badging?
 
You can't "meet" anyone at the border these days, unless it's the back woods between Quebec and Maine!

I’m a long way from the border and haven’t been following the border crossing rules, but it doesn’t surprise me.
