71 sounds like you have good plan being laid out you certainly have plenty of talented people around in that part of the country to help make it come to pass. I made a decision on my motor today will be ordering Stage 5 heads should help me make it a little more street able with today's gas. If you are looking for some motor parts I may have some stuff for sale.

i dont know any body in your area who does it but it makes a big difference to coat the valve faces, piston top, and exhaust post...

greg used to do it to every motor but now does it mostly on the race and hi-comp street motors...
 
waiting on trans and bracket I going with a gforce clutchless four sp and i need to sell the 340 I have in place and 23 spline trans and other items
 
How much and whats your motor got in it etc etc. Thinking about a small block car myself to play with.
 
stock steel crank balanced, balanced and resized stock rods, trw piston, comp cam solid flat tappet, smithbros push rods, aluminum edlebrock heads, cometic metal head gaskets, hooker headers, older single plane intake dipped, holley 750, moroso chrome valve covers, milodon 8 quart pan, mancini racing dist. the engine is between the 10 .9 sec and 12 sec engine in mopar chassis book
