Correct for 68 would be a single brown wire running from start relay to neutral safety switch.
That's true in almost all cases but I've seen a few real late '68 models with the 3 wire setup. If he has this type, we'd need to know if it's a 2 speed or 3 speed wiper car as the harness is ganged together with the firewall harness and/or wiper motor harness.Correct for 68 would be a single brown wire running from start relay to neutral safety switch.
If you have a one-wire car and a three-wire transmission, just connect your brown wire to the center pin of the neutral safety switch. You can't just swap the switch with the one-wire one because the rooster comb inside the trans is different.when i bought the car it had nothing.
i have the brown wire.
i have a 3 prong ns switch.
if i get an older backup switch where does the other wire go?
i have no wipermotor on yet, i have a 2 and 3 speed motors.
