68 up 904 converter small snout

Small block in a 65 dart with a small pilot hole, I just picked a newer slip yoke 904...do they make a converter for the newer trans with the small snout for the small pilot hole in the crank or will the converter from the old ball and trunion work.

You will need a custom converter that has the 68-up spline count with the small snout. The converter that came with your 65 won't fit the 68-up because of the different spline count.

Thanks 65...I just picked up this tranny from a member on here I'm not really sure of the year of it..it is a slip yoke 904..is there any way you know to year id it.

the numbers on the side just above the pan ... you can change the pump& shaft to use your old converter pretty simple
