Due to situations out of my control, the car restoration project has been put on hold, yet I still keep my eye open for ideas in which to complete the car and get it back on the road bigger and better!
Lately I have been looking at the drivetrain and trying to figure out what I could to to make improvements and I came across a pretty good deal on a 68 Valiant. Now I am trying to restore a 1966 Barracuda and I am wondering if the engine & transmission would fit. My Barracuda had a 273v8 and the Valiant has a 360 w/727 torqueflite. Would that be a simple drop in motor? I don't see a problem from what I have seen.
Also on a side note, wondering if perhaps the disc brake set up from the 68 Valiant would also be re-usable?
