Hey i know everyones broke but i at least thought there might be a trade offer

I'll trade you a 70 Swinger for it.
Thats a good looking car. I like the 70 front end. Do you have a solution to the geographic difficulties? I would hate to trade without getting both cars together so everyone could be satisfied. It appears we are 2400 miles apart.

Yeah, it's a LONG drive. My wife's family lives in Georgia, and I've driven down and back once. Sheesh.

Anyway, I'm not sure how we would deal with the distance. We would either have to exchange lots of pictures and talk on the phone and trust each other to ship the cars, or try to meet in the middle somewhere. That appears to be about Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

I'd hate to drive all that way without knowing the deal was going to go down. It's a lot of time and money to kick some tires, if you know what I mean?

Ive been trying to come up with a good solution. No idea how to make the trade easy. I can try to get new pictures and pm a long description if your serious.

I'd do a trade if we can figure something out. This car is a 70 Swinger with a 225 slant six and a 904 transmission that runs really well. I bought it from the son-in-law of the original owner. It has the original paint, that's a little faded. It has a few small rust spots on the passenger quarter, taht could be patched with small patches, or replace the entire quarter.

I replaced the carpet, and the floorboards are completely solid. The paint on the floor is still in nice shape. I got rid of the stock bench seat, and had a set of 70 Duster buckets recovered with 71 Duster/Demon covers and did the back seat in matching covers. They are all blue. The headliner is in bad shape, and the dashpad could use replacing.

Otehr than that, the car is REALLY straight and solid. When I first looked at the car, I was blown away at how clean and solid the car was. Very few dings. It's a really nice straight car.

Let me know if you're still interested.

The distance would seem to be the killer on the trade. it would cost an extra 1000 to do it. Not to mention right now work wont let me leave that long. I do like the dart. I even had an offer from a guy in virginia with a 70. Im still open to offers trade or cash. I havent got to take new pics but a few can be seen on photobucket just search for my album under sawdoff I would post them but havent looked up the url.

Ive been thinking and im ready for something else. Had this one for 5 years. I dont want to give it away but can buy a car cheaper now than in the past so... $7000 for my barracuda. I am still open to trading but has to be close enough to meet ftf and the trade has to be realistic. i will not trade even for a rusty project or give 10,000 boot for a car similar to mine with a big block. I may give a buyer the option of extra parts (floor shift column, console with shifter, and possibly a 340 to build but is NOT for sale without buying the car). I will try to get more pics this week.

Do you still have the '69 Barracuda? I would be interested,
Thanks
Yes still have it. Took it out yesterday for a little while to keep battery up. I'll send you a pm. Where in N.Ga? I can be in ATL in 3 hours. I'm in Hendersonville NC between Greenville SC and Asheville NC

do you have any more pics? this hole in the rocker? are they 69 buckets?

Only pics are on photobucket or cell phone. Had some on my old computor. Havent looked at the hole in a while but It is up under the pass side rocker. Anyone wants specific pics can ask. I can send by cell. I may have time this weekend (sunday) to get it up on a lift. If i do i can probably get more pics up on the internet. as far as i know the interior is original. I have a friend who does high dollar interiors (show cars) who took one of the door panels off. He found a late 1968 mark on it. the buckets do not have head rests. But the interior is nice except one row of stitching on the headliner. I think anyone wanting a good deal who sees this car will be happy

OK guys.. i just posted about 30 new pics on photobucket. When i get more time i may move some over. But for now search sawdoff on photobucket and take a look. If anyone needs more let me know

Type sawdoff in the search box. When it brings up pics look around the center of the page. somewhere it should say something like view sawdoff's profile or album (something like that) Click on that and it should take you to my pics. Theres a few of some of my other toys but most are the 69. I'll probably move a couple here but theres about 35 on there.

You probably saw a bunch of guns and some rapper maybe a pot leaf?? lol

Do you still have the '69 Barracuda? I would be interested,
Thanks

Well folks he came and bought it. Left here last night on a trailer. It has arrived safely in GA. His last pm says he's thrilled. Benny good luck with the car and enjoy. These guys here are a wealth of info. I'll be around even without an abody. There still a 70 satellite to work on. Thanks fabo

Yep, I'm thrilled with the car. I'm 18 yrs old again! It is now in the upholstery shop for a new headliner. Plan to detail it, then drive it everywhere. Will keep an eye out for a 4 spd set up. He was kind enough to throw in the floorshift console, shifter and column, so that will be going in there first.
You guys will be hearing from me. Thanks, Benny
