69' dart hood hard to close

My Darts hood is very hard to close. I almost have to hang off it to get it started to close. Any ideals on what could be wrong?

Oil up the hinges.

Worn out hood hing pivots.

They have been cleaned and lubed. They were off during paint. I even replaced the whole hinge, both sides and no difference.

they are either adjusted crooked so they bind against each other or they are stiff from paint / rust/dirt who knows what , instead of oiling them get a can of jiggaloo white penetrating grease they mix white grease with a little penetrating oil and put it in an aerosol can , I spray the crap out of mine annually since having to repair a tear in my hood from this problem , spray it in there real good and work it open and closed a couple of times and voila 2 fingers to operate the hood .
PS the crap gets everywhere so you will have some rag time after doing this .
