Hi,
Ordered 2 turnsignal cams 1 from YEAR ONE but dont believe will work.

Heres pics. Any advice a plus.
Not the same ,when I screw turn signal arm in and move it no click or snap or nothing.
It is a original /6 car dodge Custom. Dont think that matters but just info.
Went to floor console set up. Like to rid column shift collar while im farting around with current issue.
Help!
Thanks

I may be wrong but don't you need to mount the steering wheel assy. before you'll hear a click?

yep there is a adjustable wire ring with a piece that engages the switch. that is how in cancels. MT:burnout:

Does the stick stay in the signalling position after its engaged? The self-cancelling feature is on the under side of the steering wheel. The wheel does need to be mounted(as cudajim, and MT pointed out), and may have to be turned a half-turn, or more, to cancel it.

Signal arm does not stay engaged in either position with new cam.
Signal arm stays in one position with old cam cause one side is broke.
That's why I think cam is not correct and is not identical.
Actual switch assembly have any involvement?

Thanks All.

Found the problem. Wrong part as I thought.
Some reason the cam I need with this set up is for a "tilt" wheel, which I don't have?
Someone must have swapped this switch and cam setup years ago. Go figure.........

Thanks.
