69 Kiwi Barracuda

Hey everyone glad to be a part of A-bodies only! some good info on here, look forward to talking some **** and solving some problems. I have a 69 Barracuda just painted new challenger plum crazy. I have owned it since December its a pleasure to drive and everyone loves it. I also have an Australian A body- a 1977 CL Chrylser Regal this ones a project.
I'm a fitter/welder, love fabrication, I enjoy modifying engine components, porting and trying to re-invent the wheel or how the wheel reacts during suspension travel. On a mission to have a very low and very well handling 69 'cuda.

Welcome! You're in luck as the t-bar suspension of our A-bodies is so easy to adjust, tune and upgrade. Sure you've considered heavier than stock T-bars, does the car have sway bars? Search the threads, there's some good discussion on using sway bars to adjust over/understeering.With modern tires and shocks and the excellent foundation from the factory, our cars can do a lot! Be sure to post pics of your cars and process pics as you work on it, then we all get to share the fun!

Here's some pics of my car brought it start of December painted white and mildly unattractive, some hard yards put in over xmas and now shes Plum Crazy(new style). Don't have many good pics of her finished but will get some and post soon. Was unsure how this car would go this color, but once done there is no question it's bad ***!!
Now need to lower it a cuply inches.....
