Oh yeah, stock cam okayI honestly don't know really. I just don't think 4k stall on a stock cam will work that great. I'll save that when I put my ported speedmasters and a cam in it.

That’ll make you want to pull your hair out, one by one. It's funny, I was sure I screwed up the cam trigger wiring but its working perfectly. The crank trigger on the other hand is giving me problems. I'm not getting any pulses, so I'll have to go over the wiring with a fine tooth comb. I had re-loomed that part of the harness and I must have switched some pins on accident.
I'm just happy I don't have to pull the oil pan or trans for the fifth time. The diagnostic LEDS on the ecu tells me the sensor is over a space in the wheel and it never triggers, this makes me think I have the signal wire pinned wrong. I'll probe the pins tomorrow and get to the bottom of it.That’ll make you want to pull your hair out, one by one.
Good question! I set it to the loose side of holley spec at .080". It's possible it moved since then. I'll check that tomorrow as well. Holley specs .040-.080", I'll try .040".What’s the air gap?
Whoa that’s a big change.
What are you using to control it?
That 8HP70 is an amazing transmission. I had one in my Jeep GC. Loved it. I keep seeing them pop up locally for around $5-600 and it’s real tempting. The 8HP90s are more desirable, coming from Hellcats they can handle more torque but they’re crazy expensive. The Sound German Engineering controller seems to be the popular go-to. Can’t wait to see how it works out for you.
That’s really encouraging. I’ve seen the Turbo Lamik also. Popular with the BMW crowd. Now I’m frothing at the mouth thinking about swapping my 727 for the 8HP. lolRight now I’m leaning towards a Turbo Lamik TCU, initial cost outlay seems a little more than the other two I’ve researched but it has more of the features I'm looking for. It completely replaces the stock TCU in the trans and allows transbrake, bump, and even wiring in a "clutch" pedal to emulate a manual trans if wanted.
The SGA seems nice but you're limited to the stock TCU and it's functions, and you have to buy $500 of HPtuners stuff to tune it yourself. The 8HP90 would be ideal but there are guys in Australia and Europe that are running 800hp I6 motors in front of the smaller 8HP45s, so I think the 8HP70 will hold up fine for my power level.

Forgot to loop the trans line, sprayed everything down with trans fluid, so that’s fun.
