anything that i need to know when i get my 7 1/4 rebuilt - any good modifications - the 75 dart is a driver
 
if you can find/afford an SG center, its about 2X as strong. Otherwise, just bearings and races. If its a 75 Dart, I would look at a 8.25 they both have the LBP right? Many more gear options and availability. The Dakota 7.25 is NOT the same thing.
 
.........is this a slant 6 or 318 car , as stated above but, any bigger motor than them I would be looking for a 8 1/4 or 8.75.............kim..........
 
Do waste you money on a 7.25 rear. 8.25 will work even better. It's what I'd do.
 
The 7.25 is fine for a basic driver. They are still fairly common though. You might replace it with good used for a lot less than a rebuild.
