when you switch a 7 1/4 to a 8 1/4 what do you do with the shocks They'er 90 deg out Jim

You need the A-body 8 1/4" or 8 3/4" shock plates. The 7 1/4" shock plates are too small for the 8 1/4 u bolts anyway.

Oh I've got the 8 1/4 plates but the shock studs are 90 deg out
