Where does the rubber brake hose connect coming from the rear metal brake line?

The usual tee fitting, but it's retained by a plain bolt not the vent bolt. Looks like its been like that forever
Yeah that should be a vent that holds it to the rear axle. Forever or not, it's wrong.
IIRC, I've seen them with a flatish hood over the vent and not use the brake hose tee.
This is the vent ( looking at it from above) vent is facing the rear of the vehicle on drivers side it's the cap on the right
The hole is there for the "T" retainer BOLT unlike the vented bolt of the 8 3/4
