I got a sure grip into my 7.25 no problem, but tried to swap in 323 ring and pinion and just couldn't make it fit by about 1/8 inch, and the mechanic said I needed the old yoke or the pinion would have to be machined? Does this sound right or should he have reset the bearing? Don't know, any help would sure be appreciated, I thought these would go right in. They came from a 70 slant six dart, I have a 71 slant six Scamp.
