[WANTED] 7.25 sure grip WANTED

-
It took me 20 years to find one. It was in a 65 Barracuda. It sat on my shelf for 10 years. I sold to some on this site. It ended up in Europe. My advice would be to upgrade to an 8 1/4 or 8 3/4. Finding a suregrip for an 8 1/4 will be a lot easier than a 7 1/4. Doctor Diff has 8 3/4 clutch type suregrips.

I have an 8.8 ready to go in if not. I got it for 200$ complete with a 3.73 ratio and disc brakes. I wouldn’t mind keeping the 7.25 in there if I find a sure grip.i appreciate your advice though. 8 3/4 are hard to come by cheap.

Looking for a sure grip for a 71 7.25 rear. Let’s hear what ya got. I know these are not easy to find.
Get in touch with these cats. AMS Obsolete. Formerly Frank Mitchell Mopars. They probably have one. If they do, it'll be NOS and it won't be cheap.

I have a 7 1/4 SG carrier available. However, the 7 1/4 had two different SG's the early "clutch" type, and the later "cone" type (just like the larger rears). The one I have is the cone type. If interested send me a PM.

Sorry people. The SG unit I have is NOT for a 7 1/4. Just assumed it was as it came with other 7 1/4 and 64 Valiant parts. When I took a good look at it, to make sure it was good, I discovered not 7 1/4. Not sure what it is at this time. Might be 8 1/4?

There's also a carrier ratio break on the cone types. My Fifth Avenue's 2.2 diff would not work with 3.2 gears.

I have a 7.25 cone style Sure-grip with 2.76 gears. Located in Baton Rouge, LA
PayPal Goods and Services accepted and will ship. In the pic, 7.25 is on the right side.
$450
