70 340 Dart Carburator

Does anybody have informaion on what carb came in these, such as pictures, brand, size of four barrell etc. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

For California they were Carter AVS #4936 (manual trans), #4937 (Auto).
All others were Carter AVS #4933 (manual), #4934 (auto).
Also Carter #4935 (auto and A/C).

The original CFM rating was 625, also AVS stood for Air Valve Secondary.:salute:

The Edelbrock 600 Thunder Series AVS is the same casting as the Carter AVS (just a lot shinier).

I have a very nice Holley 600 List #1850 that I am willing to sell for $75 that would work great in a stock 318, 340, 360 and would even up the jet sizes.

Auto, 4 speed, emissions?

I have a couple of Auto carbs.

Mine is going to be auto, 340, no emmissions needed in this part of the world yet?
