I have two copies of the Broadcast sheet, both of which are in relatively rough shape. Between the two I can get almost everything. In three boxes I cannot read the one or two digit codes.
The first is on Line 1 for the delivery codes (Y section). The car is Canadian built (R, Windsor) and is supposed to be Canadian delivered (Order number is C15538). Would it have a 7 under the "Specs built For" column (Y07)?
The second is what are the two digits that go in each of the columns on Line 4 for the Frame and the Sway Bar (mine has the S31 code)? The frame column looks like it is 76 but I cannot be sure.
Another question is I have the M85 front and rear bumper guards. The rear ones are on the car but the front ones came in a box. I looked at trying to put them on but they just don't seem to physically fit where they should go. Is it possible I have a later (71) front bumper or are the 70 and 71 bumpers pretty much the same?

Y07 is correct for Canadian built. frame 76 and sway bay 39. front bumper guards need hole drilled in bumper to fit. I always find bumpers with these holes and I don't want them!! anything else needed just ask. my specialty and love. Have a 1970, 1971, and 1972 - all 340 cars with last 2 being Canadian Specials.

please send VIN info and I might have on my Registry with past info. Joel

Many thanks for the codes and the bumper info. For the bumper where exactly do the guards go (how far from the centerline)?
My VIN is LM23H0R153001.
Another question, the car has a factory radio but the code is not on either broadcast sheet. The car has many options so it would be hard to believe it did not have a radio. Was an AM radio stock with a Swinger?

Windsor did odd things with coding. My Dart from there did not have a radio coded on either broadcast sheet, but it was on the fender tag.

No radio - standard.

Any radio was an extra cost option.

Thanks for the information on the radio. My fender tags are missing so I cannot check those.

Here is a B/S of a car like yours built in Windsor..............

Thanks for the broadcast sheet. In 24 hours I have had more of the tough to answer questions answered than in three weeks scouring the web. Attached are my broadcast sheets for other members reference if need be.
