70-72 Valiant tail lights fitting a '68?

I currently need tail lights for my '68 and have some I want to buy for the car to hold me over until I can find some really nice ones. Problem is they are from a 70-72 Valiant and I am not sure if they line up the same as the 1968.

Anyone know if they do or not?

the valiant tail lights will fit, the valiant scamp lights won't. the later valiant tail lights don't have backup lights in them though, they were located in the bumper.

I have a pair of 69 Valiant lights if you're interested; They are similar if not exactly like the 67s.
