Well of all the random things to have fall in your lap, a 70 Challenger just fell into mine.
I am away from the shop for the 4th but pops stayed behind to hold down the fort.

I get a text early today saying "Trade the model T for a plum crazy 70 challenger?"

And I reply, **** yeah.

Next i get a call from pops saying its a done deal...

So anyone care to decode this fender tag for me and tell me what we just bought.

Here is what i think it says.

EN1
FC7 C16 C555M21R11 YAS
FC7 H6X9 000 306 115542
E44 031 3423 G08 271543

THANK YOU!

Sweet car!
Does it retain it's original engine?
Does it have a build sheet?
Pics?

Thank you guys and that all lines up with what we have so great job!

Original engine is long gone. It is a very nice car.

It may look more like this?

EN1
FC7 C16 C55 M21 R11 Y05
FC7 H6X9 000 306 115542

Can you search it for broadcast sheets when you have time please?

Thanks guys!

Looks like its the car we think it is.

I doubt it has the sheets as it is all in parts but you never know.

Edit it may read, VO5. VQ5?

Y05 - built for US sale.

Unless the original stamper made a typo........

Wait until you guys see it.

Its a sad story but a lot of money was spent on this project and then for personal reasons the car needed to go.

I dont know if the owner is a member here and regardles their privacy will be respected.

With the car is a 392 scat pack hemi, a 8 speed auto AND a viper 6 speed.
Lots of boxes of parts and god knows what else.

I am trying to not get super excited until i can see the car in person and see exactly what we just bought. From the pics its looks like a very solid start and hopefully all the parts are there.

Seeing as there is no o e paying for this build besides me and pop, it wont be a fast turn around but it will be very nice.

I have been wanting to build a road race, 120 MPH all day with the AC on type car and I think this is it!
