I have a 70 dart project been working on for a couple of years, getting ready to reassemble after body work is completed. During the process to this point we have done a lot of work and one item was to install a 73 small block k frame and suspension up front. New bushings all around with torsion bars for a 340 etc, car was originally a 198 /6 and is destined to be a 340 4 speed. I am just now discovering that our manual steering box won't mount to the 73 K frame like it did to the original slant 6 unit. My question is has anyone hit this snag previously and can you assist me in identifying the options I have available to move forward? Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
