Man all I can say is you guys are true artists. You take cars with rust and dents ant turn them into real street machines. Not trying to sound corny but I wish I had some buddies who could work with me on my ride.

Got a little more work done today - started to repair the damage to the drivers side lock striker panel, in preparation for mounting the qrt panel. just a lot easier
to do now while I have full access to the backside.
Used 1/8" plate steel with 3/4 inch hole, the original had a 1" hole but the 3/4 seams to allow for full adjustment. Did this same repair to my son's a couple of years ago and the extra thickness doesn't seam to make a difference.
Still needs a little more grinding, but with a little filler, it shouldn't look to bad.

BTW- anybody have one of these, or know someone thats cutting up a duster for parts. I'm having a hard time finding one. Its the trunk latch piller that mounts to the rear panel.
I'll also try posting in the parts wanted forum.
