Could someone give me the "in order" steps to remove a complete dash assy from a '70 Duster.I need to replace or repair the radio opening along with pulling the guanges for resto, painting the dash frame, etc. E Bodies I can do in my sleep, but these A Bodies are new to me!! Thanks for any tips

With the windshield out it's pretty easy.

Drop the column.

Remove the 5 or so screws at the windshield edge and the two bolts at the lower corners nears the kick panels.

Disconnect the bulkhead connector and heater cables/wiring. There are some additional electrical connectors at driver's side kick panel that feed the rear. Dome light switch wires (both sides). Speedo cable. E-brake handle.

That's pretty much it. Anything I missed will be obvious.

If the windshield is in then you may be able to cut the front screws from underneath. To reinstall you would put the u-nuts on the dash frame instead of cowl and run short screws in from the underside. The windshield gasket hides the screws.
