i just aquired a 70 duster theres 3 main plugs in the firewall the front harness plugs into two of them and the drivers side theres nothing pluged into it would this plug be used for the heater wipers heat gauge oil pressure gauge scince i see no wires for these items if so where can i get this part of the harness 70 duster with the rally dash i hope this makes sense thanks all i tryed to send a pic with this but it said file was to big thanks

The driver side harness plug is for the wipers. The other two are engine and forward lighting. I have a detailed video of factory underhood wiring here: http://70duster440.com/downloads.html (See video number 5).

Just about any donor a-body from the era will get you a working plug and harness. The only difference may be in the 2-speed or 3-speed wipers harnesses - which can be modified if necessary. I have an engine compartment diagram here: http://70duster440.com/EngineCompart70.PDF

thanks so much duster 440 i am trying to get back up lights the car was a 4 speed now it has a 904 the center wire on the neutral switch is hooked up so the car starts in neutral but the contact pins on each side are not these are for the back up lights i do not see any wires for these pins does anyone know where to run the wires that goes to the 2 pins would they come from the 3 plugs on the fire wall maybe the drivers side plug i dont have thanks

No problem. If you refer to the diagram you should be able to add the appropriate wires to your harness if they're missing. (It's right at the top of the drawing when it opens). You need wires to run from the NSS though cavities C&D of the bulkhead connector. Again, you can probably scrounge a NSS harness from a donor car. The other two prong female plug may still be on your main harness near the bulkhead connector.
