Looking for an entire assembly as I do not currently have a housing. Intended use is drag racing so a sure grip would be great and a 742 or 489 third member would be preferable in the 8 3/4. Or, if you have a Ford 9" or Dana 60 that is fit to an A Body, let me know. Willing to drive a distance.

All new original a body 8.75 housing with new 5x4.5 bolt pattern axles 741 case 3.91 gear sure grip. location is Collins ohio 44826.

I've got a back braced 8.75 housing and a set of Moser 35 spline BBP axles. How much power you plan on putting down?
You may want to just consider a Strange S60 and be done with it. Usually an offer of free freight on complete assemblies in the fall...if you can wait.

i got 2 chunks (open) and 1 small BP axle and 2 10' backing plates new shoes and cylinders 1 air vent

I spoke the folks at Moser and they were very pricey on a complete assembly, about $5200 shipped. I am only building for Sportsman class drag racing. I have a 318 .30 over, KB pistons, and a large cam with 360 heads that may develop up to 400 hp at the shaft, so I would think even a 741 case would hold-up fine, I would just prefer a 742, or 489 to 'future proof.' If it weren't for budget I would go with Moser or Strange (they are cheaper, around $3400-$3600 delivered).
