71, 198/ , heater hose size

I can't find what heater hose size is supposed to be . Anyone have an idea ?

I'm gonna guess 5/8 since that's what every /6 I have ever had has been

The loop that was on it was so stretched out I can't match it up well at all .

Hoses are sized by ID, some of those are 5/8" & 1/2", there are two different sizes on A/C cars in '72 for sure. Most older are 5/8" in & out.

I just did the hose on my 82 D150 and it was 5/8's

1970 Duster- 1/2 on one side, 5/8 on other. Pics below

'70-'72 A-bodies used 1/2" from the cylinder head into the heater core and 5/8" out of the heater core and into the water pump.
