1-18-71 date 340 block. .020 over. Stored over 20 years Block and main caps. Cylinders were coated with grease and it seems to have protected them well Block will of course need to be cleaned etc for what whatever your plan is. Steel crank mains are ok. Rod journals may clean up (they were not greased) but I am just including the crank for free. $550. Central Wisconsin. Prefer you pick up if you need it shipped you make ALL arrangements. I can strap on a pallet I will get a pic of the VIN pad in a few days posted for those who insist on it but don't have a real 340 car.

Thanks FABO.

Holy cow! That could be my block! Please get the VIN. I know my car made a stop in Wisconsin many many years ago.
HOPING IT ENDS IN ....917

What were the rod journals size on the crank ?
I’m sure it will need to be turned,,but at least it would let you know if it will clean up .

Is that a forged crank or cast,,,,after over 50 years , who knows what has been swapped out

I’m assuming you will bolt the crank back in the block to possibly ship it ?
Is there any way you would ship it ?

Yes I can certainly set the crank back into the main bearings. I can strap the block to a pallet and shrink wrap it. It's up to the buyer to do the research on shipping method, pickup and cost of such appreciate the interest
