Popular Hot Rodding did a major shoot on Denny's green Hemi Duster at Mopars at
The Red Barns one year. Didn't hear anything about it. Then, two years after he sold
the car it turned up in the magazine!
 
It definitely seems to be a roll of the dice type of thing for when and if you will get your car in after the photoshoot. Ross, I hope we see your Dads Swinger soon, its a beaut.
 
Nice! I'll have to grab a copy on my way out of the bush. Congratulations Rod. That really is something to be proud of. And thanx again for the delivery!!
 
My truck was shot about a year and a half before it made it into the May 2003 issue of Sport Truck magazine.
 
I just gotta chuckle (sorry Mark)

reminded me of Cliff Gromer... about to wet his pants wanting to shoot HemiMarks Hemi Barracuda at Carlisle last year. Mark was off enjoying the show (screwing around)....so as Cliff anxiously danced around I reminded him he ALREADY shot it two years ago at the Nats with the B.S. promise...."it will be in the next issue"

well Cliff.....we're STILL waiting!! I did quit holding my breath though.

That was funny when you told me you reminded him he shot 2 years before!....I wish I would have seen his face.....

I would have turned blue, but keep your eyes peeled for an issue coming out in Dec, the Demon should be in there. Or so I was told.

For everyone asking about track time, I finally took her down the quarter a couple times. Best ET was 11.31 and best MPH was 128.9. This was with 3.55 gears and 28x13.5 ET streets, pretty doggy in the 60' with 1.74.

If the economy was good I'd say you're right. The Canadian dollar sinking helps me recoup from a lower sale price. I really don't know if I could go through with a sale or not. I want to build another car, but in the end maybe I will save my pennies and keep the Demon. We shall see if cash in hand sways me...lol.

Denny, not much at all. Sorry, I didn't reply sooner, I haven't been on here in over a month. Oil-patch has dried up until the price for a barrel goes up. So spending is at an all time low. I probably won't work at my usual job until late summer. Maybe get a crap job until then,,,or maybe go fishing,,lol. I'll say hi to Keila for you, please do the same for the rest of the Laube clan.
 
Nice video....I'll have to try that with mine someday...it probably wont be quite that easy since I'm about 100hp less.

suppliers selling non water base.
My painter is very skilled and he refused to use the new paint.
He said it is crap........
He was the same guy who painted my 70 Challenger.
