I am selling a 1971 duster 340. There is no motor or transmssion. It needs to be restored. I have new sheet metal from auto body specialists, floor pans trunk pan. I started on the project but got something else. $2000.00 or best offer. Call (812) 346-1867 Best time to call is after 4 pm email for pics
 
Do you have the build sheet, fender tag, dash with VIN tag that all matches the radiator support?

Was it an auto or 4-speed car?

Did it come with the hood scoops?

Was it a rear go wing car?

A/C car?

Bucket seat car?

What color was it originally?

What rear end is in the car? Gears? Posi?

1971 Duster 340s did not have a factory hood scoop option.

Duster Twisters were available from the factory with twin hood scoops.
 
Vin matches radiator Auto No ac or go wing bench seat Factory oramge but it was painted black 8 3/4 no posi dont no about gears Aslo comes with 68 340 short block no heads
 
If the car 's fender tag documents those options, you have a rare ' 71 340 Duster and it's worth $$$.

List your fender tag if you still have it ( factory location is on the driver's side inner fender, under the hood near the battery).

Sounds like a nice duster, but rare??? Maybe I'm missing something from the description.

Bench seat, orange car, probably black int, no ac, auto on the column, sounds like a low option stripper car to me.

Help me out here.

While the options on this car do not add that much to the overall value, the car is EV2, it's a factory 1971 340 car --- the most desirable 340 Duster built.

1971 340 Duster with Sharktooth grill, rallye dash with 150 MPH speedo/full gauge instrumentation, high compression 340, EV2 color, ThermoQuad equipped from the factory.

Typically, because of these and other features, the 1971 340 Dusters bring the most $$$ of all the factory 340 Dusters. See Ebag auctions, etc. for typical 1971 340 Duster values...
