71 duster cowl / grill

What are the dimensions of it ? I’m looking to cut mine off . They don’t last and I’ve welded in new ones on my darts in the past and they didn’t last for crap either . I’m thinking of cutting it out and fitting , bolting down a plastic one but not sure about the dimensions of it.

this isn’t mine but this section of what I’d call an intake air grill it’s called a cowl I guess . I wandering what the dimensions are of this ? Looking at it why no one makes a after market cover of these damn rusted things

Thats why i got a donor one and cut it larger than the vent area. Then cut out the old one slightly smaller and flanges the area now its removable for cleaning

I get that - I’m asking why they don’t sell a cover to boot over top of rude damn things lol . They are all rusted to **** . They make for so many other car . I’m going to try and draw one in solid works
