71 duster side fender turn signals

Aloha!

Are the sides fender turn signals (front and back) factory painted to match the body color or are they factory chrome?

My front ones are painted my rear are not....from PO. (see picture)


I think they should be painted...

any thoughts?

I think they are both supposed to be body color. I know on the 71 demon they're both chrome.

Don't know if it is the same with the Duster but the ones on my dart are chrome. I like the chrome better. But that is just me.

On my '70 Duster the bezels were body color. Can't say that I've ever seen chrome ones on a Duster.

The ones on my 70 Duster came painted body color, and the 71 I had years ago were the same.

Mine are body color from factory, chrome ones are not unusual, but I don't recall seing them on the 340 Duster or the Twister. My guess is, it was a trim package ?

I'm curious to find out myself for sure.
