is there any way of knowing which brakes were on my car if it had option b-51, power brakes 'disk or drums'? this is a 340 car. thanks in advance.

I,m gonna say 1 3/4 inch pads on the rear if it has 8 3/4(stock),sorry can,t help with the fronts.

it would have been disc on the front. so i guess you got the car huh?!:cheers:

I don't know about in 72 but I know in 70 you got front K/H disks and 10" drums standered with the 340. Pull the wheels off and take a look see.

1970 model Abody 340 cars had K-H discs up front as standard equipment, with an 8.75 rear with a 10 x 1.75" rear drum setup.

After 1970, Chrysler put disc brakes on the option list for 1971-72 340 cars.
