727 decoding

Hey gang, got a 727 that I would like to decode H2514483
2671998. Planning on using the guts on this small block tranny and installing in a slant 6 727 case for my turbo slant 6 powerwagon.

I'm guessing the "H" is actually a "K" and it should be preceded by a "P." The 2514483 corresponds to a 1965-1968 truck/van transmission. Nothing too special about it.

Would it swap ok to a slant 6 727 case with no issues and accept slant 6 torque converter?

did they ever have a sl6 727? I parted out a mid 60 sl6 van and it had a 727, but with a cast aluminum adapter between the trans and the slant block.

Yeah, they did, don't tell me you have the adapter, after i just bought the slant 6 727 case.

yeah, but I couldn't lay my hands on it anytime soon. It's quite buried in my other garage.
