Hey Guys,

I am looking for a deeper trans pan for a 727. I am only looking for 1 to 1-1/2 quarts over stock. I like the idea of a finned cast aluminum design and was just wondering what some of you guys are running and how you like them?

I saw that Summit offers a pretty nice aluminum pan, looks like Mopar performance has a nice steel deep pan. Mag Hytec looks nice......a little pricey though.

Anybody running a B&M or a Hughes?

I have the summit pan. Very nice for the price. The only problem I had is it uses a pipe thread plug for the drain plug and I overtightened it and with pipe threads being tapered threads it cracked the pan. I had a shop weld it up and put a normal drain plug with a gasket on and its been good since.
 
the stock A518 tranmission pan holds more and is deeper then the A-727 and it will bolt onto a A-727 from what I have found
