Not true, there is a super beefy 30 element available now that does not use rollers and springs. I got mine from ati. Here are some pics of mine during the install.

Yes it does have low band apply. Saved me some headaches.........or foot aches! Burn-out in first only so the low band helps out the sprag, for the last 9-10 years. Definitely got my monies worth out of it.

Burnout in first only, why? Maybe your low reverse band was out of adjustment and not holding the drum. What valve body do you have and is it a brake?

They do. 30 element dogbone sprag. A&A has it and Ati has them that I know of.
